Some of the carrots I planted in early January (Jan. 9 blog post) look bright green and healthy.
But some are small and are turning a light brown color.
According to the date range on the back of the package all of my carrots should be ready to be picked this weekend. The browning of the carrot top had me a little concerned so yesterday I decided to pick one to see what was going on. I dug away the dirt a little, then all the way, but didn’t find a carrot.
Keeping my fingers crossed that the healthy looking tops will have carrots at the bottom this weekend!
